It is a great pleasure to introduce the 20 writers and stories who have been selected for the 2021 Bristol Short Story Prize shortlist.
The stories will be published in the Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology Volume 14 by Tangent Books in October. The anthology will be officially launched at this year’s awards ceremony when we will also announce the winner of this year’s competition.
Huge thanks to this year’s judging panel: Irene Baldoni, Mahsuda Snaith and Tom Robinson, whose meticulous and committed discussions have produced such a wonderful list and given us the opportunity to publish what will be a superb collection of short stories.
Many, many congratulations to the writers on creating stories that resounded so strongly with our readers and judges. We feel very fortunate to be publishing and celebrating your captivating work.
