Valerie O’Riordan’s Debut Short Story Collection

September 13, 2012   Joe Melia

Congratulations to Valerie O’Riordan, the winner of the Bristol Short Story Prize in 2010 – her debut colection of short stories, Enough, was published by Gumbo Press in May. It’s been receiving great reviews, including this from A.J.Kirby in The Short Review : ‘This is simply great writing, a veritable tour de force, the exception to the rules. Not a word is wasted in Valerie’s ultra-economical prose. But no punch is pulled either.’
