April 10, 2014   Joe Melia

rebecca_lloyd_thumb_medium300_0Double congratulations to Rebecca Lloyd, winner of the first Bristol Short Story Prize in 2008. Rebecca has had two short story collections published recently: Mercy and Other Stories (Tartarus Press) – 16 “tales of unease, with a sprinkling of the EndlessStreetghostly, menacing and fantastical”, and The View From Endless Street  (Wido Publishing) – 20 stories which explore relationships and show “a sometimes sweet, sometimes macabre vision of humanity”. Rebecca’s prolific output continues to demonstrate her great versatility as a writer and we wish her every success with both collections.

Rebecca won the 2008 Bristol Short Story Prize with The River.
