Richard FifieldMany congratulations to Richard Fifield whose debut novel, The Flood Girls, was published last month flood girlsby Simon and Schuster in the U.S.. The book has been receiving great reviews from bloggers, readers and the press.

Kirkus Reviews calls it a “lovable chronicle of small-town insanity” and Publishers Weekly says it is an “excellent fiction debut…hilarious and profane”.

Hopefully the book will be published in other countries outside the U.S. before too long so that more readers can enjoy Richard’s huge writing talent.  Meanwhile, we wish him great success with the book and his writing.

Richard’s short story, You Can’t Always Get What You Want, was shortlisted for the 2014 Bristol Short Story Prize and published in our 7th anthology.
