Joel Willans enjoys more success

joel_willans_bw_100Joel Willans, shorlisted for the 2008 Bristol Short Story Prize for his story ‘Floating On By’, has been shortlisted for the 2009 Flatmancrooked Prize (for Excellent Writing Done During a Period of Great Fiscal Renewal) . Joel joins 9 other writers on the shortlist which is being judged by the author and professor of creative writing  Aimee Bender. Good luck to Joel for the rest of the competition.

Joel will also be published in the latest Riptide anthology alongside Orange Prize winner Helen Dunmore and others. The anthology will be launched on October 14th.
