Craig Hawes story to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4

Congratulations to Craig Hawes (above) who was announced as a runner up in the Rhys Davies Short Story Competition this week for his story ‘Zeina’. Craig’s story was also revealed as one of three stories selected for broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in March. ‘Zeina’ will be read by the actor Steffan Rhodri who recently played Dave ‘Coaches’ in the sitcom ‘Gavin and Stacey’. The broadcast will take place at 3.30pm on Thursday March 11th.

Craig was shortlisted for the 2009 Bristol Short Story Prize for his story ‘Pictures in the Dust’ which was also published in last year’s BSSP anthology.
