We are thrilled to announce the 2019 Bristol Short Story Prize shortlist.
These 20 stories and writers are in the running for this year’s top prize, and will be published in our 12th anthology by Tangent Books. The anthology will be launched and this year’s winner announced at our awards ceremony in Bristol on October 12th. The winner of the Sansom Award for Bristol-based writers will also be announced at the event.
Many thanks to our brilliant judging panel – Lucy Cowie, Polly Ho-Yen, Kate Johnson and Billy Kahora, who brought their immense experience and forensic commitment to the process, and have ensured that we will be publishing a fantastic anthology in October.
And a huge thank you to all the writers who entered this year’s competition.
