2008 Runner-Up enjoys more success

Derek Sellen, who acheived 2nd place in last year’s Prize with his intriguing tale ‘Angel and Assassin’, has had his wide-ranging talents as a writer rewarded with forthcoming publication in a poetry anthology. A sequence of five poems by Derek on the work of Spanish painters will be included in ‘Storm at Galesburg’ , an anthology of poetry prizewinners to be published by Cinnamon press in September 2009.

Derek has also recently self-published a collection of his poems, ‘The Arch and its Shadow’ .
