BSSP Anthology runner up in book of the year award

The 2008 Anthology was recently awarded second place in the ‘Top Book’ category in Venue magazine’s end of year prize round-up.
The magazine said: ” Second place must go to ‘The Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology’ and all that it represents- the remarkable breadth of our city’s imagination, the nurturing of far-flung talent, the reinvigoration of the short story as a format, and their longer-term goal to support creative writing initiatives for young people.”
