A group of independent publishers

BBP is a group of independent publishers based in the Bristol area. We collaborate in all areas of publishing on a voluntary basis, and sell to the public via our online shop.

We also publish an acclaimed quarterly cultural magazine called the Bristol Review of Books, which is distributed free around the city. The Review specialises not only in book reviews but also comments on a wide range of cultural events, from architecture, art and poetry to t-shirt design and circus performance. It also acts as a showcase for emerging local talent across many artistic fields.

The Review is proud to sponsor the Bristol Short Story Prize, which will provide a publishing opportunity for undiscovered talented writers, wherever they live.
